Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas is a fantastic film! One of the very few American flicks that are not plain crap...

oh bollocks.. I was just about to quote 'I am a servant of the Secret Fire.. yadda yadda... You shall not pass!' from the same scene as you, Mariner. I finally had time and stamina to sit through the extended ed. Great stuff!

nice quote, isn't it?! :)

"Maybe in order to understand mankind we have to look at that word itself. MANKIND. Basically, it's made up of two separate words 'mank' and 'ind.' Now that doesn't make sense, and that is why mankind doesn't either." - Jack Handy

It is Crack, definitely. Nice you found the time! What do you think about the new scenes?

OT

The new scenes served the movie very well. It was now closer to the book and it didn't feel as rushed as it did in theaters... Much better pacing, liked it alot. Can't wait till TTT :hotjump:

Oh fock... My friends had tickets to TTT-screening next friday but I had to turn those tickets down since my band was supposed to have a gig the same day. Needless to say, the gig was moved to next weekend

"It sold three million copies, which wasn't a lot for the Pink Floyd. And as a consequence, Dave Gilmour went on record as saying, "There you go: I knew he was doing it wrong all along." But it's absolutely ridiculous to judge a record solely on sales. If you're going to use sales as the sole criterion, it makes Grease a better record than Graceland. Anyway, I was in a greengrocer's shop , and this woman of about forty in a fur coat came up to me. She said she thought it was the most moving record she had ever heard. Her father had also been killed in World War II, she explained. And I got back into my car with my three pounds of potatoes and drove home and thought, good enough"
