I didn't think a favorites list could consist of 24 bands. I'm gonna have to go with Extol as my favorite technical death band. Even though they are much more than that. No I'm not christian.

And what I've heard of Psycroptic is EXCELLENT. This is something I really want to get my hands on. A friend was streaming some psycroptic through shoutcast and it is is simply awesome. It was off their new album I think, though I've also heard stuff from the Isle of Disenchantment.

Siksakubur (cryptopsy injected with more speed, chaotic structuring and more interesting drumming)

Avulsed (crazy spaniards! seriously though, the latest album is stunning)

December (not really death, just technical; brilliant drummer)

Iniquity (crazy danes!)

Necrophagist (intense, rhythmic, huge godly malmsteen-esque leads and solos)

Vile (chunky technical DM wholesomeness, full of choppy riffing and time changes)

Sepsism (fast, extremely heavy, lots of cool floor-tom drumming)

Gorguts (for Obscura)
