I absolutely love the mix and drums for Shock, the kick makes Dino's super thin scratchy guitar tone on that record (kind of odd that Digimortal it was so thick, which was later, and now its gone even thinner with the Industrialist) sound massive.

The kick on demanufacture sounds quite unique for what sounds like straight triggering, lots of wet "slap" rather than a teeth chattering clicky sound, maybe its all the reverb they used on it, sometimes the overheads even sound a little chorusey, and the ridiculous amount of verb on the master!
