Feedback for my bands website design

I did the site from scratch in about 10 hours. I'm by no means a professional in this area, so all feedback and improvement suggestions are welcome!

hell yeah, perfect. i hate when bands have a fucking player and a shit ton of stuff loading up and slowing down. keep it simple!

looks nice. im not a web designer or anything but I've heard that .gif images load much faster so you might want to try that instead of jpg. i might be wrong though.

Hey, thanks everyone. I think only the banner is jpg. I'm using mostly .png's with transparent background, since a don't want to export all my files again, if I want to change the background color or something. I tested the site with iPhone, and it looked pretty fucked up. I'm pretty sure I did a lot of bad coding in terms of positioning all the div's, so I have to recode the site. But thanks, I'm really pleased to hear you think I succeeded in making the design simple and easy to browse.

I wouldn't recode it I'd make a mobile version that redirects when it sees a phone browser

Strange choice of colour for the menu bar- a bit mystery meet navigation-esque to me.
