FEEDBACK on UM OS Banner see above

I love TM and as I said in the TM forum my sis is a Urbaniac! :) I really hope CM gets off their stupid asses and give these guys the proper promo! the same actually goes for Edguy .. they have a Smokin Record by the name of Hellfireclub and its just collecting dust on the shelves! its a Crying shame! ... it seems all they care about in America is Mallcore :Smug:

I could not agree more. Though I am not as big of a fan as you are of their studio work, if you can't enjoy Edguy live, you need your hed examined. They are a fun band to watch and sing along with. Cheese is usually a bad thing for me, but Edguy is the king of cheese, but the pile it on in a very good way.

Igor my son, where have you been? Never left home like this again.

BTW, you're gorunded :D

OMG! :yow: I would love to wear a shirt with all those metal gods on it! Unfortunately, I don't the quality of the print would be up to snuff using this graphic. This is a low resolution web graphic, and digital images only get grainy when enlarged up to a tee shirt print size. Of course, I could be wrong. It's been about 7 years since I worked in the screenprinting business, and technology may have advanced enough that you could enlarge a small jpg like this, and make it presentable on a shirt.

If it was possible, I'd love to see this printed both sides, as close to the seam as you could get...so it would look like a big bold horizontal stripe from a distance (on a white shirt anyway, on black it wouldn't stand out until a person was right up on it).

Maybe nothing that important, but the size of the banner can be the half of what it is now. Using Photoshop's "save as optimized" option this same image can be saved at quality setting of 40% without any noticeable loss in quality and would weigh some 25kB.

I've been flat out with school every weekday and getting called in nearly every weekday night and all weekend for work. It sucks. But at least I got money

The Lad has a Good Idea there! we should look into something like that
Glad to see you like the idea!
An UMOS t-shirt would be awesome, especially with that banner on it.
Does anyone think they could do it?

Great Banner TSO!

I'm going to check in to what it would take to get a screen printing done. I know its done in layers for each color so the more colors the more layers and will probably affect cost. I'll let you know what I find out.

Ya See what I like about Edguy is that they dont take themselves to seriously ... and they Keep the Dragons and Castle shit to a Minimum .. I personally think they are the Best of their style .. yaknow the Germanic Helloween influenced Power Metal .. and with every album they get better and more Versitile ... though officially on the record I was abit disapointed with there PPV performance .. I didnt think their set was all that great and Tobi sounded bad ... BUT he did have us (the crowd) in the palm of his hands His Presence was all there but his Vocals were not ... on the flip side I realised just how good of a Guitar Player Ludwig is! .. his Style is basic but Very affective and The Fucking Felix on the Drums! That thing he did with the Star Wars music was cool! I remember alot of folks on the PP board Bitching about the Drum Solo But I thought it was Fantastic!!! I love Drums and that was cool!

Savatage definitely earned the right to be on there - but there are definitely bands that were left out that should be as well. Only so much room available I guess...

I love the banner/shirt idea...here's just my two cents, though...not that it needs changing..but you could make the banner go all the way across the page and add some more photos like:

A good "SHOUT" era Motley Crue pic
and OLD Cliff era Metallica pic
an old motorhead pic
etc. etc. etc.

AC/DC definitely, plz.
:)

I guess I can conclude from your avatar that you like the Bon Scott period the best. Well, I just love that period in AC/CD's history.

AC/CD will soon release a double DVD about their history. Its called "The Familly Jewels". The great thing is that the first DVD will be loaded with footage of their concerts and clips with Bon Scott on vocals!!

The day it is released I will RUN to the store to get that DVD. O and the second DVD with Brian Johnson will probably not leave the DVD case. :)
I never could stand his voice. He gets on my nerves, I'd rather hear a deep death metal grunt

You might like Stratovarius. They are not unlike Edguy and I like Timo's vocals a little better than Tobi's. I can't imagine S5tratovarius being as "fun" live as Edguy, but they have many similar qualities. See if you can dig up the song "Hunting High and Low." It is probably their most popular tune. THey stack on a little cheese as well, but about like Edguy. It isn't to the Manowar degree.
