Janick Gers (Iron Maiden) = 6 better than a lot of people give him credit for, but not reaching his potential all of the time (imo)
Kirk Hammett (Metallica) = 1 dreadful tasteless and inarticulate.
Steve Vai = haven't actually ever taken an interest in his music
Yngwie Malmsteen = 7 should be higher but he gets a bit repetitive
Joe Satriani = 6 used to like him 10 years ago but now it just all seems like really simple progressions and bluesy playing.
Michael Angelo (Nitro & solo artist) = 3 incredible technique but crappy music (from what little I have heard)
Vinnie Vincent (Kiss & VVI) = haven't payed any attention.
Ace Frehley (Kiss & Frehley's Comet) = 7 Ace is one of my faves. Not technically great but he has a great feel and style all of his own.
Bruce Kulick (Kiss) = 7 under rated.
Marty Friedman (Cacophony & Megadeth) = same as Vai. Obviously a great player but I've never really checked him out
