Fellow marching band geeks?

Are there any other people in marching band or drumline? If so, what do you play?

I'm tenor section leader in drumline, and basically the only tenor for marching band. I'm such a band geek. :Spin:

I've done marching band for 3 years (I've been in pit all 3 years, if that counts for anything). I'm through with it though. I'm going to devote more time to pursue piano and other assorted....stuff?

yeah, pics! we hardly have a marching band tradition here like you guys have in America on schools and colleges. I like watching it on TV, though! dutch marching bands are very boring to watch...

Wow, I've never heard of pit being under appreciated, most of the time they are a bit over exagerated in the music. We have pit/battery/band bonding time. Our band overall is really close.

there was a high school marchign band once, that decided not to break up after graduation, they were called "never get laid"


did marching band at University of Northern Colorado for 3 years. Epic after-parties iirc.
