i cant even begin to fathom how they did that scene that was fucking brutal.

The brutal beating and the rape scene burn themselves into your brain, but I really hated the movie. It did not benefit from the convoluted reverse storytelling and the visuals were often epilepsy/nausea inducing. Just shitty french "art-for-the-sake-of-art" style film making.
