I gotta say tho, from the couple of trailers I saw. The music is super gay. I hope it's not like that throughout the whole game.
What, all the mournful melancholy piano and stuff? Par for the course my man, you definitely gotta check your masculinity at the door to play a FF game, but I dig it

I've been wanting to check it out, but I never played a FF game before. Last time I bought a game I knew nothing about was Resident Evil 5 and I was kinda disappointed. I guess I'll wait a few weeks and see how people like it.

wtf this game sucks major ass. never played that manga-japano-rpg shit, but I thought, well give it a chance. this game is no game at all. it's like walk 2 min through as linear "tunnel" with 2 objects to gather 4 fights to battle (hit "a" every 10 sec. for attack, no strategy needed) watch 5 min rendered video (which is really nice I must admit). that's not a game it's like watching a manga!

I was hoping for it to take advantage of crisis core's combat system, but they made something automatic instead

Kinda... I really dig the graphics, story, magics, etc, but turn based combat system makes it unplayable for me. All that inventory, jesus, it´s the same shit since NES. Don´t know why japanese love so much this system. Even Dragon Age that has a point-and-click style of combat makes me bored.

pre ordered it on amazon, should be tomorrow at about 9 am. The music is the best part of final fantasy games. Have you guys heard the new battle music? it's hypnoticly awesome.

I'm getting ready to go get this. I anticipate that it will probably be a fucking long ass install. Apparently according to the gamestop dude, the xbox 360 version is 3 discs and the playstation 3 version is one.
Pretty much seals the deal for me as far as my feeling that PS3>Xbox 360.

Just got it home. So far the cut scenes spank the living fuck out of the quality of MGS4. But I have not gotten into it yet. Surprised to see the game only requres 500k of hard drive space.
