You can beat that, 211 Steel Reserve is $6.99 a twelver if you can find it and with an alcohol content of 8.1%, it's more like an 18 pack. Fortunately, I have a store in town that stocks it special for me.

:rock:211 FOR LIFE!
i chugged a tall can of that shit before a show once and puked it up 2 seconds later, it foamed all sick in my stomach and I could feel it coming out my throat from my stomach. thats a violent beer.

Most def... that shit is straight fuckin haggard... drunk or no drunk, Ill stay far away from crap beer, AND crap liquor... you get what you pay for MOST of the time, so, find your bargains... this should be a thread unto itself...

Yo .. let me tell you a little something about behringer, For the musician on a budget its not that bad. I actually have quite a few behringer products and its not all shit. Ill admit its not the GREATES STUFF ON THE PLANET by any means....

But for someone like me with a family thats looking for good gear for cheap. Its a good way to go.

DONT DRINK CRAPPY ALCOHOL !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I used to work in a venue that had all behringer comps and gates. They did the job. The compressors compressed and the gates opened and shut. They have been there 5 years now and are still going. Good thing is if they did fail you can just throw em away and get more. They do the job.
I believe Mick Hughes used to endorse them (could be wrong) but if theyre good enough for him.......

i once saw Andy give his thoughts on Behringer products to a novice engineer, who had recently bought a piece of that company's dubious tube gear, that we met while at a pub in Derby.

i used it alot live actually, like you said, it works. Its ok budget gear basically
yeah, he wasn't actually sticking his arse up at the gear there in that pic, i was just having a laugh. he was actually just showing her how to get "proper bottom end".

that tube compressor actualy has a light behind its tube that lights up when you use the Warmth knob to make it look like the tubes are working.. but its pretty damn good for the dough though :Smug:

everyone always asks why i dont like berhinger and its because of that tube thingie. i played in a band with a guy who would sing through that thing and i couldnt stand it. it just sonded wrong, oh i just remembered something else i liked that they made, it was a programmable eq.
