Even though I'm a horror fan, I never saw Cube, until last night, with the girlfriend. Man, that film is awesome.

Yeah, I'm late, I know. I especially liked the fact that the film doesn't provide any explanation or background or anything. There's no explanation why the cube's there - it just is.seriously, you are late and that is a very good horror/sci-fi movie, good acting.

I watched Cube² too, but that wasn't all that good. The original was sweaty, dirty, dark and gruesome, and the second was sterile, clean and full of light. What I hated most was the fact that they tried to give it a story, while it shouldn't have a story - that's just the thing that made the first so good: is it night, is it day, is the cube underground, in a desert, in a city, no one knows. The second completely destroyed that effect, as I knew it would.
Plus, razor wires and acid sprays beat a murderous square any day of the week.
