how do you guys like the sound? I had to cut like 15db at ~5khz to get rid of the fizz!! thats like the only problem the fireball has. you don`t have to touch the eq in your daw, except for the fizz region and 15k+. I think it`s because of the gain. these are 4 tracks, gain at 9:30 oclock. and I think it`s too much gain already!

That's pretty nice, although I think it sounds too muddy and dark. Try cutting around 300Hz to make it more clear.

The biggest problem with it is that the guitars are really really loose, playing wise - the trem picking and triplets aren't synched up at all.

I might get a 5150 for recording. I`m curious how it will mix with the fireball. As far as I know, nobody here in this forum ever tried that mixture!!

the tone is a bit dark, and the timing being kinda off muddies things up

It's quite dark, you'll notice that when you put drums with these guitars.

Besides that I dislike the fireball, but that wasn't what you wanted to hear I guess

I find it a little too much in the mids, to be honest. It's just a little hashy. Tighter playing will certainly help as well.

Don't get me wrong, it's a good start. You've got something to work with.
