Cheers guys!
Last weekend I had the chance to use my FF800 on its full potential for the first time by recording my band's drummer kit.
However, I noticed that on the analog Input #3 I had a noticeable drop on the input level (Analog Input #3's meter on totalmix was peaking considerably lower than the rest of the input channels). I first thought that it could be a problem with the external mic pre I was using, the mic, cables, etc.
Once I was at home, I tried it with my SM57, though my RNP ... same cables ... basically same chain, only switching between the analog inputs of the Fireface, and still Input #3 was a lot lower (peaking at half the level of the other inputs).
So, is my FF800 malfunctioning? or is it just me and my n00bness that haven't figured out the way to set levels for each analog input? (I thought they were fixed) ... I really hope the second alternative to be it.
Thanks a lot for your help!
