Firewire confusion.

Hey all,

I was hoping to grab up a used Digi002 or Digi003 this summer so I can stop relying on my built in sound card (yea I know) and I had a question about firewire cables.

I just got a brand new laptop, but it only has a 4-pin firewire port on it. Is it possible to use a 6-pin to 4-pin firewire cable with the Digi002/003's? If not, then I guess I'm shit out of luck in the ProTools department.

Awesome, thank you! I spent a couple hours searching Digi's and other sites to see if I could pry out the answer. Figured this would be the best place to get a straight answer.
