Firewire interfaces...

I have a fp10 interface but was thinking of another firewire interface into my other firewire port. Is this possible or will they conflict with each other. I would like to get a cheap behringer 8 ch mic pre, but as i can tell ther is no way to connect to the fp10.

I thought you could only chain 3? Did they recently change this?

Anyhow yeah get another FP10, other devices won't work.

Not sure about that... I know he runs a Focusrite Saffire as an 8ch ADAT pre into his MOTU 8pre, though.

I don't know if either cubase or reaper will access the 2 interfaces simultaneously.

2 different interfaces definitely not.
