I get a feeling that's not a real bass? Overall souning good though! I actually like that bassdrop. Might be my speakers but it doesn't sound cheap at my end.

its a unique sounding mix, an i kinda diggin it lol
the part with just the drums and the bass guitar is sick as fuck btw nice job on the song writing.

thanks for your feedback and yeah the bass is programmed but i'll try to achieve the exact same sound with real bass

any tipps for achieving a bass sound like the new of mice & men, boomy but also very metallic sounding?
i know joey uses UAD Nigel but is something similiar with pod farm possible?

i'll update this post as soon as we finished recording & mixing our very first song with vocals (not that from above)

^ Yeah man duplicate the bass track, and on the duplicated bass track add a good amount of distortion, and cut the EQ on the distortion track so it's only high mids.

Guitars are so dark man! Brighten 'em up and try to give the snare more ''air'' cause now it sounds pretty much squashed.
