What do you think? Mainly I'd like some advice on the drums and bass. Thanks in advance!

E: The ending is what it is because there'll be a fade out.

The guitars are left channel Framus Cobra and right channel Diezel VH4. Bass is DI + Psa1.

Yeah... i cant open a yousendit link without getting some critical spyware shit while im opening the site...

I guess thats a PC thing Bob, because I'm able to upload and download stuff from YSI all the time with zero problems. I've have yet to experience any of the problems so many people proclaim.

i don't really know how to comment on this in a constructive way

overall it sounds pretty good, i can't pinpoint exactly what could improve it...but everything just sorta clashes to me, and doesn't have a whole lot of live to it

i don't care much for the kick drum sound, i hear a lot of snare from the drum kit

bass sounds pretty good

Here's a new mix/master of the song, with vocals. Well have to record some of the vocals again, especially the low growls on the chorus and screams at the end of the song. I'll have to find a way how to mix the toms better, now they're just a mush of low end. Any suggestions?

I also mastered the song a bit differently. I put the vocals, gtrs and bass on a separate track than the drums. This way I got the drums to stand out better and I didn't have to cope with the limiters eating away my snare and kick.

Any comments, ways to make it better?

YouSendIt: The Leader in File Delivery.

I don't know should I let the guitars have more low end and should I put the bass guitar more up front?

E: It seems there's some bit of clipping, mostly because of the low end from the toms. I'll have to adjust the limiters a bit.

What version are you speaking of? The ones on soundclick have about 70% Andy's sample on the snare.

The drums were recorded at Fantom Studios, Tampere Finland. On the kick I used andys sample and another sample off this forum (don't remember who posted it) called "ancient kick" 50/50.

The guitars I recorded through my Cobra cab where I've swapped 2 of the greenbacks for Century Vintages. I used a single 57 about an inch from the grill (or where the grill would've been, I removed it for recording) on the Century Vintage pointing straight to the edge of the dust cap.

The bass is DI + an octave down pichshifted track + a distorted track. (I'm pretty much still experimenting on this).

Vocals were recorded through Rode NT1A.

What do you think of the guitar sound? On an another forum someone posted that they're too dark. They sound bright enough on my monitors?

this latest version sounds much better! (the one on soundclick)

didn't you post this on HC under another username?
