Following your advices I have recorded that short test clip (is very short it wont take you too much time) , please tell me somenthing:http://soundclick.com/share?songid=6572430

4 guitar tracks 100-80-80-100.
Impulses: Guitarhack JJpowertube Centre 0 for panned 100 guitars and Fredman Angled 10 for the 80 panned guitars.
ENGL screamer (loop send out, amp has no recording out :( ) EQ:
LEAD 12 o´clock
BASS 13 o´clock
MIDDLE 13 o´clock
TREBLE 12 o´clock
LEAD PRESENCE 12 o´clock
PSP vintage warmer on my main output.

Re-recorded begining of the song with new setings: http://www.mediafire.com/?xkfnieyygzk

First of all it's been some time since i last heard that track but i think you've got the lead wrong there.....
Anyway...apart from that i believe there is a phase issue with your guitars....
You need to give some more info on the way you laid your guitar tracks....how many tracks/takes....how you panned them? copied tracks? etc...

The guitars were recorded 4 times and panned 100 80 80 100, I´m not sure but I have used and Aux Input to send a PSP vintage warmer pluging to the and I think that this is making the Phase Issue. Should I bounce the four track in one stereo to mange the guitar in just one track??? I´m not sure of that.

Thanks,

No, keep the tracks separate.

Rhythm guitars definitely need some work. Did you mic an amp? If so, what amp?

Keep in mind that not all combinations of impulses work....i assume you used one impulse for 2 tracks and another for the other 2....
I have found that certain combinations make the guitars sound thinner....

Sure, The impulses are "GUITAR CAB IMPULSES 1a", I have downloaded from here a few months ago.
About EQ, I´m away from Amp right now, I´ll try to hang tomorrow but is somenthing like:

Lead: 6
Bass: 9
Mids: 2
Treble: 8
Lead Presence: 8

The range of te pots goes from 0 to 10 in wich 5 is at 12 o´clock.

Thanks,

I think part of the problem here is the tone. You really have the mids scooped out of there. Balance everything out, maybe Bass 5, Mids 6, Highs 5.

I haven't heard of those impulses. Are they guitarhack's? You may want to completely change the impulses you use.

I´m not sure if they are guitarhack´s, they are in three archives 1-30...

I have downloaded all the impulses here please let me know a good combination to make a few recordings with another EQing.

In the other hand I have inserted the PSP vintage warmer in my main output it sounded right for me when I first used it but now I´m not sure if this is right there.

Thanks.

I'd say your amp settings are all wrong, boost those mids up, reduce the bass and treble and really cut back on the presence. This is a general rule but I find my Engl's (Thunder + Fireball) all worked best when I set the tone and presence knobs to 12 o'clock and just tweaked either side of that, so ranging from 11'oclock to 2'oclock. Maybe the Screamer is different though. As for Impulses, try Guitarhacks Centre0 or Centre1/ Edge0 or Edge1 for the 100% tracks and then use the Fredman 45 Angled for the 80%. You'll have to experiment though. I don't have the Vintage Warmer, but I can't see that its the problem here. Also, doesn't the Screamer have a dedicated XLR recording out, maybe use that? I can't hear the track for some reason, but always use less gain than you think you need, even if it sounds kinda thin in the room. I always make the mistake of using too much and it always sounds over-gained in the end.

Thanks for the info, I´t will be helpful. I´ll make a recording in few hours with that settings.

Yeah, needs a lot less low end. But you are already improving. Keep working on it and updating the thread. Try taking bass down to around 9 o'clock or less.
