i recently downloaded this album, cuz i wanted to see if its any good before i buy it. But encountered tons of pops and noises, so i just figured it was a crappy rip job. So i downloaded from someone else, and the same thing. Then i tried downloading ones at different bit rates (obviously different rips) and still the same pops, etc

now my question is.....what the hell!!?!
Is that what the cd actually sounds like??

I still have the tape and I don't recall it having any pops and noises. It's not the best quality sound but it's as good as anything else at that time. I've noticed that whenever I download any old metal like old Slayer, Exodus, ect from Kazaa it allways sounds like shit for some reason. Probably because they rip it from an old ass CD that's been played a million times, but whenever I get a new CD of the same stuff it allways sounds fine.

Guess that's a problem of mp3s. I've got something like re-released edition (it's in one pack with Armed And Dangerous single) and it sounds pretty good, for an 80 metal.

I still listen to the same Fistful RECORD that I bought back somewhere around 1984. Pops and noises all over the place........but I wouldn't have it any other way!!! That record has probably been played 1000 times since the first time my ears melted on the beginning of "Deathrider".

Fucking album still kicks ass!!!!!
