I think this new Megadeth line-up has some serious potential. I hope they release something in the future. Flotsam is one of my top ten also JD. I started listening to them with NPFD. Great album, but Cuatro and Drift are just killer albums. They changed, but in a great way. I love those two discs!

well its almost certain that Megadeth's breaking up....but that was said BEFORE Dave announced the Gigantour, so im hoping that this delay of the breakup is some sign. There is nothing i would love more than to see a new Megadeth album with this lineup, it would be interesting to see how Glen would influence Dave's writing. So keep your fingers crossed and horns up for new Megadeth!

I think that it is Sean Drover that does the majority of the writing for Eidolon... I am too fucking lazy to pull out the discs right now though.
I do agree that this line-up has a great potential to put out a good slab of metal!

oh gosh... um, Eidolon... They are pretty good actually. Straight ahead metal. I can't really compare them to any one band. They are good though. Musta been something for Dave to take the brothers on the road with him.

I don't know what to think about them fighting back and forth on thier own messageboard. Fucked up. It sounds like some damage control is being put in place now to help the album sell. Who knows what these guys are going to do? I guess they can't afford a 40,000 a month shrink like Metallica! 
And JD, I'm actually looking forward to this new Megadeth line-up recording together. I think it may produce the best music since RIP. Let's hope.

After reading this I shot over there to see what you were talking about ... and frankly I though it was kinda funny ... Flotsam in essence is Turmoil there is always something going wrong in that band and it comes through in the music I dont think they would be such a great band if everything had gone right for them ... though I did think Erics Crack pipe remark was hitting below the belt he should know better .... another thought I had was maybe they were just doing this to get attention ya never knowSavaRon said:I don't know what to think about them fighting back and forth on thier own messageboard. We will see when it happens hahaha I was always a big fan of elfs playing maybe not his personality but he was part of why I picked up a Bass myself ... its like a Loyalty thing ... but ya never know Maybe Megadave will kick my assSavaRon said:
