Focusrite Saffire Question

I dont't know what he's doing, but I have absolutely NO problems with the Saffire 6 USB. (Using EMG 707s)

Saffire 6 has the exact same converters and pres at the other "Pro" series.

I can't find any evidence for this. Where did you get this information?

I'm thinking about using a smaller interface at home and leave the big one for the bigger stuff so I don't have to constantly plug/unplug all that shit.

depends alot on the pickups. active ones (emg, bass-pus ect) works fine here, because the output-signal is limited/clipped on emgs, so no peaks who clipp the preamp.
but passive pu`s with strong picking => clipping (saffire pro24, no PAD-switch avaible)
i use a self-build impedance-convertor + attunator in front(-6dB i think), now it works without clipping.
