Hey guys, Long time lurker here.
I recently had my Firebox give up on me, so I grabbed one of the Focusrite Saffire PRO 14's. I'm using the interface connected to my Macbook running Reaper to play backing tracks for my band live.
The setup I had in my head was this in Reaper:
1. Headphone mix buss.
2. Click track buss.
3. Synth mix buss.
4. Bass guitar mix buss.
5. 808's/sub bass buss.
The amount of stems for each song in the set would vary, but they'd always be sent to the same four main busses. I would route the click only to the headphone buss, plus separate sends from the synth and bass busses.
Theoretically this shouldn't be too difficult, but the Mix Control that comes with the Saffire is confusing to say the least.
All I want to do is have:
Headphone buss --> Headphone out.
Synth buss --> Mono Output 1.
Bass buss --> Mono Output 2.
808s --> Mono Output 3.
What am I missing?
