Anyone actually like 'Dynasty'? It was looked down on as "Disco KISS" but I think its great. Theres a few pop songs but the rest of the album is pretty solid rock.

I always thought "Dynasty" was a good record. Ace's version of "2000 Man" is as good if not better then the original. "Magic Touch" was a good song too.

People love to hate them. I even like Unmasked. From Dynasty, there are actually no really "bad" songs (IMHO, of course); Peter Criss's last song is excellent, IMHO, with those nice bass slides and Ace's guitar parts. Charisma, Magic Touch, Save your Love, all pretty good. I think some people hate them because it's "cool" to hate them, more than for how "bad" they really are.

its the only kiss record ive listened to,domino rocks,other than that ive seen them live once and they were medoicre to say the least.

Used to love Kiss when I was younger. Dressed to Kill and Destroyer blew me away. Dynasty was pretty good as well. I got into the band when they released Crazy Nights, and just started digging through their back catalouge. I even liked some of the tunes on Hot in the Shade, but stopped paying attention after that. Had a listen to Sonic Boom though, and thought it was a complete pile of wank. In other words, it was better than I expected.

Anyway, my favourite kiss related release is a tribute album done by Sack Trick called sheep in Kiss Make Up. It' such a gem, it's unbelievable. Bruce Dickinson guests on it, and it contains a 15 minute medley of the Elder that cracks me up every time I listen to it.

I think I may be one of the few Kiss fans that absolutely loves Music From The Elder. VERY UNDERRATED album. "The Oath" & "I" are awesome tracks.
