Forever Falling (Djent, Metalcore)

Hey guys I'm sort of new to this forum and I thought i would put this mix out there to see how I'm doing. This song is definitely lighter than my usual but this is just how I felt when writing it. My ears are tired from listening to my own mix and outside opinions are very helpful. thanks!

i think it needs to be a lot tighter. guitars seem a little lifeless too :/

Alec16 is right, the playing could be tighter. It sounds pretty sloppy at parts. Guitars could be louder. Drums could be less raw and thicker. OHs need to go down. I don't see where the 'djent' comes from, this sounds like metalcore to me.

just the chordy sections are sorta djenty feeling, ya your right I definitely need to play cleaner but I just threw this together quickly to get my ideas down it was more of a composition thing, if i were to actually release this in a serious manner i would re-record the guitars.
