Fredrik Thordendal's new Ibanez

I saw Meshuggah with Ministry last Tuesday in Spokane, and for some reason I was turned on by Fredrik's new guitar. It's an 8-string Iceman, single pickup, couldn't tell if it was a trem or the new fixed edge style bridge. Flat black, looked neck-thru. I tried to take pictures, but the concert security threatened to take away my camera.

Anyone else seen this?

Damn, I'll say - the finish is beautiful, but kinda bewildering; is it transparent pewter over wood with a really defined grain?

Fuckin shit! That thing looks brutal. The Iceman is my main ax, so seeing this gives me a major semi. Ibanez totally needs to put that into production.

That's the first Iceman I've ever seen that I like but I gotta agree with dude that Blackmachine is way better quality.
