Free Bricasti M7 IR's

We had a talk about this over on Machinated's thread, but it does deserve one of its own.

I had a brief play around and they are indeed amazing.. the best verbs you're going to get with no budget whatesoever.

C'mon guys, you load up 'rate my shitty Revalver tone' threads with hundreds of posts, yet a thread with FREE impulses of one of the finest hardware reverb processors on the market gets 4 posts!?

I wonder about you folks sometimes... (not referring to anyone in this thread)

:)... me revalver??? haha me n james have been chattin about these, n he sent me some nice mp3s of just drums with the verbs on! they are very very smooth n natural and i cant wait to get some on some of my new projects!

There was a direct comparison done by one of the members of GS. The differences are fairly subtle but the hardware definitely does win out. The impulses have a bit of a gated tail sound and the high-end is a bit artificial. The hardware breathes a slight bit better and seems to glue the direct tracks to the ambiance a bit better. I guess that's the difference between free and several grand for one instance.

Well going back to the verb I thought sounded cool (which I was using before) I had to take it off...these totally smoke it. The hardware must be fucking sick....im interested to hear Slates Bricasti verbs!
