Also for when you do want to be able to visually see whats going on this is definitely one of the best analyzers. When you run multiple instances on separate tracks it shows each tracks spectrum in a different color in the analyzer window. It's a fairly nice tool to have when your giving everything room to breath.

I've never heard IIEQ get mentioned on this forum. It is definately one of the finest freeware equalizers i've used alongside smartelectronix NyQuistEQ and Aixcoustic's Electri-Q/Posihfopit.

It sounds amazing and somehow manages a very low cpu hit. I also find that the gui forces you to use your ears instead of eyes. It's not available on the developers site (http://www.ddmf.eu/) at the moment but i've uploaded it to the ftp. The site is not attractive and the gui isn't the greatest looking either but the sound is great.

Edit: I've also uploaded a bunch of great skins for Electri-Q/Posihfopit I found over at kvr. Big improvement in the gui department with these.

If anyone has the old free 3 band version on PLParEQ, that would be another killer plug to make available on the FTP. I haven't found a better EQ for mastering, and the M/S options come in handy often.

Rubberfilter - an extremely steep filter (up to 384dB/octave)

Can be very useful when you want to completely kill unnecessary lows and highs on guitar tracks to make more room for other instruments that naturally occupy those frequencies.

The M/S function kick soooo much ass it's not even funny.
My masters got alot better since.. realy handy when havin to widen mixes a bit, it just makes my mix better in a few realy simple steps

Yes it is available on edonkey.
If you can't find the free version then IMHO it would be (morally) OK to download the full version and use only it's free features (only one band ? IIRC or three ?) then if you'd like to use all bands - buy it.


btw I don't use it - I prefer Posihfopit.

Oh I meant the free 3 band version they put out earlier. I wouldnt advocate piracy here, that's illegal

So you'll become a pirate anyway even if you just want to download plpareq3.

ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHh you're not getting me. If the old version they ONCE released as a freeware is still out there, that, I want. Its not illegal to 'go back in time' and download a once freeware program. Otherwise I can think of a couple other programs that would have a whole line of illegal users because of that reason. I want the free 3 band version they ONCE released.

In our case it is illegal to go back in time.
If I remember correctly there was a clause in the plugin's license that prohibited sharing the plugin - the only legal way to get the plugin was to e-mail the developer and ask for it.
