I have the same problem, being 5'3'' I either have to stand right at the front or right at the back, or i can't see... and you're right, tall people who smell are disgusting when your face is at armpit height uke:

and it can bother me when I have to get something from a high shelf :S And yesterday I had a first sword fighting lesson and because I'm so short I should use different techniques than the others.
