hey, lord - ever try plugging into your guitar into your soundcard and using multitrack software on your computer? alot easier and more versatile than a four track, unless you need it to be portable!

Oh man, that was funny! Yes, I have tried that, or at least I used a mic to record it. The software I used sucked big time, so I dropped it. Nowadays this computer is wound so tight I'm suprised it even boots up. Lets just say it has "issues". Besides, finding a quiet time around here to do those things is next to impossible. Depending on how hot it gets in my garage this summer, I may consider playing down there for some privacy. We shall see...

true, those programs are ram hungry and sound like crap w/out a decent guitar processor w/speaker sim. i usually crash mine and lose the best take ever anyways. hahha!
I took a (small) chance and bought a cheap program from ebay last night. I have several cab sims on my processor, but never really used them cause they sound like crap-o-la through an amp. We'll see what happens.
