Going to be ordering Slate 3.0 soon. In the mean time I'm happier with some samples I made myself, plus DFH 1.0 (I was the 32nd customer of Toontrack, back in the day, and I still perfer DFH 1.0 cymbals to almost anything else.)

Yeah I had a brief fling with 2.0 a while ago before it cocked my system up, can't say it was an improvement on 1.0, for metal at least. So ive stuck with 1.0. I was hoping the extra room mics would help but the cymbals always turned out really "washy". Ordered my Slate 3.0 last week, its going to be killer.
