Fuck it, I think I'm just getting a Honda

hahaha, remember that Bundy's episode with the HHHHHHHaguar?! That shit ruled.

Fuck those cars btw. God damn polished turd.

damn my dealer for getting me that 325 yesterday as a loaner. dropped it off last night and for the first time going from the loaner back to my car, it felt like a step backwards.
they gave me a shitload of cars before, from $50K Cadillacs to SUV's ... but that damn beemer was bu-tter.
I never felt a beter dampened suspension coupled with just amazing handling EVER. This 325 could have used a little more ponies under the hood, but damn.

the best car i've driven was a bmw 520 but seriously it's just TOO EASY to drive, it practically drives itself... where's the fun in that! my dad's old ass citroën bx19 is HELL to drive! which makes it exciting!

i didn't much like the bmw 318 i've driven

the idea here is that I save some cash on a monthly car payment.
how do you *save* cash on a depreciating liability? i dont understand why someone in your position who doesnt drive much doesnt get a used japanese car. why do you have to drive a brand new car every couple years? its one thing to keep it for 20 plus years but the way some of you guys do it, youre just throwing money in the garbage.
car = worst investment ever. what else costs that much and LOSES value?

yeah, some of you dudes are spending like $5/mile when you could be spending around $.10/mile or less. unless you like spending money on cars then no problem. whatever floats your turds.

A rare thing has occured. i agree with dorian.

As i've already said, I want a cheap beater car that nobody will ever want to break into/steal cause it looks so shitty. Cars are a terrible investment and a waste of money. Who cares how fast it goes, if it gets you from A to B reliably, thats good enough for me.

Cars cannot be looked at as an investment, because they aren't. They are a commodity and nothing more. EDIT: maybe that's not the right word to use. What I'm trying to say is cars = food.

That being said, I drive a whole fucking lot, and I'm sure 'gugs does as well. At 25k miles per year, a 20 year old car isn't dependable.

NADster, youre not thinking in terms of cost per mile. how is it more convenient to have $300-400 sucked out of your pocket EVERY MONTH for the rest of your life than to get a $2000 town car and put 100,000 miles on it? the ONLY way to get a leg up on the whole automobile industry is to buy a three year old car and drive it until you die. anything else and they are winning. of course, theres mass transit, but this is america hahaha

If it were simply a practical manner, then yes, I would go back to driving 15 year old Toyota pickups. Cheap and reliable.

But I love to drive. And now that I can afford the car I want rather than simply the car I need, I do. Been making payments for nearly 2 years now, and honestly, it still doesn't bother me.

damn, thats alot of miles. you like to drive though so there you go. you dont seem to mind. the thing im questioning is why drive a new car if you dont drive much, which is what i thought gugs was saying. further, isnt one of the appeals of the great city of new york its transit system? i dunno, ive only been there once, but thats all i ever hear about.
