If you are really into learning how to play. There are several good books I can recommend to you starting with Doyle Brunsons book.

Both of his Supersystem books are good. the second one has a section about online poker.

I'd also suggest Dan Harrington's books... best tournament strategy books on the market!

I only read Brunsons first book. I actually didn't even know he had a second.

Online is very hard to make money. It's a tremendous amount of guess work. You play the cards more than the player when you play online.


Dan Harringtons are also good. I have a couple of other books that I read. They are by lesser known players but still very good. One of them gets into very deep detail on percentages which I found extremely helpful.
