Damn I'm going to have a hard time this Christmas not singing these songs when Mum wants to play carols

I actually asked the same question and wiki told me he's a bass player who has played with the likes of Vai, Joe Sat, James LeBrie of Dream Theater, Dweezil and Dethklok which explains the Gene connection where I found the clip.

It appears Joe Sat was even too busy to put out a heartfelt message for EVH. I'm pretty sure I saw one from Vai but not Joe Sat.
