I was just listening to Glory Bells first album on YT and it's exactly like that. There is one or two moments of good guitar work but the rest sounds very much like a B League (channelling my inner Dave Wright
) prog metal/rock album. Then they open their second album with that brilliant Reign in Blood riff which repeats several times in the song and actually fits well in the song and it really makes you wonder how a band can two such different things.

No I don't but apparently it is true.
He had also been chosen to play in Slayer on South of Heaven, but original drummer Dave Lombardo came back and beat Menza in the audition.
Lombado is good and around the time was definitely one of the best but he was no Menza.

Do you think Nick was better than Lombardo? Serious question. I'm not sure I can judge them properly. It would be easier if Megadeth were writing music as intense as Slayer while Nick was in the band.
