Fun with Metal!

How about a fun metal fact?
Morbid Angel's Discography is a work in progress of A-Z
Altars Of Madness
Blessed Are The Sick
Covenant
Domination
Formulas Fatal To The Flesh
Gateways To Annihilation
Heretic
Ilud Divinum Insanus
Kingdoms Disdained

The two missing letters belong to live albums
Entangled In Chaos
Juvenilia

There is one album missing from that list and it's Abominations Of Desolation which was the third album released. The reason it doesn't make the list is because it was originally recorded as the first album but the band (mainly David Vincent I believe) deemed it not worthy of release. 2 years after it was recorded the label and band decided to re-record it, at the time the band still did not like it as an official album hence they didn't want to use C as the first letter.

Holy crap that’s very interesting sort of like how the Band Dew Scented (now disbanded)all of their album titles begin with the letter “I”

There's another band I can't remember who are spelling out their name with album titles too.

Pure 80's thrash pleasure. Well not really just another early 80's German thrash band but those kick drums are fucking massive!

You could park a small car in those kick drums, that's one hell of an ego :)
Nick Menza always said that rack kit of his on the later RIP tours was a prick to set up, I reckon that kit above must be nearly as bad. Once you've hired the crane to move the kick drums you then have to watch out for the spikes on the other drum.

Edit: Oh yeah I've been going though obscure metal bands of the 80's on YT lately so there might be more gems like this one :)

It really is amazing what is other there from 40 years ago. So many bands that had one killer riff, one amazingly fast song, or a heap of other things but they either broke up before stardom, went into other bands, or just failed. I suppose the beauty of these YT playlists is you can listen to that one off song without buying the rest of the crappy album, or even that you can listen to an entire album that is out of print.

Oh yeah. I think it's more likely that many of these gems are one song wonders. But then there's the gems inside the gems where the whole album takes you by surprise. It's all good.:kickass:

There was some I was listening to the other day where just the solo was good, or just the chorus, or the opening music is killer then the vocals are like someone having their nuts squeezed in a vice while trying to sing baritone. It so sad all the good bits just can't be combined into something killer :)
