basically, yes.

anything where the bassline is in charge with tight snapping drums. hopefully with some unpredictable rhythm. maybe even percussion.

between Suicidal Tendencies, Infectious Grooves and Helmet.

i figure that with Latin America's rich percussive history, the mixing of funk and metal would be strong.

i've also been hoping to find a funky metal band with a horn section and it seems like Latin America is the place to do it.

Well, there's a brazilian band called Charlie Brown Jr.
Try to find it at KaZaA, i don't like it very much, but u can try it, despites the fact that they sing in portuguese.
