i've been listening to these tracks alot, they're great.

thanks for the info. i've really been struggling with the d-verb ... can't really get it to sound good. Basically my problem is that it sounds good on it's own, but somehow it just drowns in the mix too much and ends up sounding like mud. I used to get a lot more clear reverb sounds with logics and waves reverbs (plates)... so can you give me any good tips on how to set it up?

BTW. How did you set up the ambience mics? a/b or x/y or some other way?

filter out the low freq. so that the reverb doesnt effect the lower freq. thats where a lot of mud comes from
