At The Gates might be overrated. Somehow that doesn't really seem to matter to me. Perhaps they only do one thing, but they do that thing rather flawlessly.

Only a couple of their albums are sludge like Through Silver in Blood and I forget the rest. Neurosis has gone all over the place with their music, but it has always been good in my opinion.
