The first video looks like the Principal's kid after watching too many Metal Method videos.

The combination of posing, outfit and facial expressions in the OP's video is unbeatable. Either this guy is seriously taking the piss (also by wearing that shirt and using the Strat) or there is not an ounce of rock'n'roll in him

Agreed with both of these - I wouldn't say "gay", just incomprehensibly dorky, and I just feel uncomfortable when he keeps flashing that shit-eating grin at the camera

HOWEVER, he can really play, and honestly, in that little solo thing he does at around 1:40 I hear a huge stylistic similarity in his style to myself (if that's not an overly vain thing to say ). And that's a great tone from a Strat, way less single-coil twang/squelch than I thought was possible

I not sure about that, it sounds very strat like to me. While I think the tone is ok, not great, but that's just personal opinion. Too each his own I guess, but he is defiantly not a bad guitarist at all. He sort of looks like the guy that plays the psycologist "Lance Sweets" on the show "Bones" if he was playing guitar that is.

Well truthfully, I've never owned a Strat, I just always thought playing distorted rhythms on one had to sound like that video of that fat Mexican guy ripping it up on a brownburst one (can't find it, but the frame rate of the video is all fucked, you guys must know what I'm referring to) - his playing is phenomenal, but I hate the tone, and always thought it was just how distorted bridge single coils sounded!

OT: In the vid in OP, I dunno about gay... definitely a bit geeky, but does anyone else find him extremely infuriating to the point where you want to beat him to death with the guitar? Good guitarist, but why all the stupid faces and prancing about?!
