Bonsoir !
Here i am, mixing a brutal death/jazz mix and suddenly there's this one and only clean guitar part. I started up using CLA guitars because
i remember fiddling with it and imo the stock presets were pretty nice right from the beginning. I could get this nice mellowy, airy guitar sound similar to Alcest or Agalloch (I love the atmosphere/sound
).
The guitar on it's own sounds good but once i'm playing it with the rest, it falls completely out of context. Like it doesn't belong there.
For people who mainly deal with heavy guitars, drums, growls, pig squeals, huge bass and then suddenly confronted with a calm guitar part. What do you do ?
Has anyone ever used cla guitars for clean/acoustic tones ?
EDIT: I meant cla unplugged not cla guitars
Basically
