Getting thios bass tone

Can anyone help me out here.

the bass tone there is something I have been trying to get but my bass sounds way to woody in the mids to acheive it. Can anyone offer some advice? My guitars are sounding wrong because of it.

It might be my choice of emualted bass amp im not sure yet.

No EQ here just some compression on the bass.

Drums are the same same preset in Metal Foundry.

I'm pretty sure he used an Axe Fx for the bass track. Probably ran the bass through a guitar amp within the Axe Fx would be my guess.

What would that acheive? Could I get it with using something similar?
