This is question for all the gibson les paul owners....Can the les paul tend to sound nasal?

Bit of a broad question don't you think, considering they come in a variety of different wood combinations and pickup options?

It can - In my experience with Les Pauls there can be a TON of variation from one guitar to the next, which is why it's really important to play a lot of them in person before purchasing one.

I know that my is a stupid question, but I'm recording atm an hard rock band, and ther guitar player have a gibson lp top of the series, with a seymour duncan jb.
Wee tracked the di, and when I reamp the guitars they sound boxy, but they sound sound boxy also with my peavey and my mesa.
the di's are perfect.
I think probably is the guitar or the playng tecnique.
