March 2009 will see the full length DARKER HALF debut album "Duality" be released and we already have a bunch of album launch shows for you all to enjoy.
These will be the first bunch of dates with plenty more in store later on. Also the guys have just been confirmed as a support act on the Wollongong Paul Dianno show 2nd June as well. Hopefully a big year for the boys!

The DH boys are guest Dj's at Rock club Paradise City in inner city Sydney on Feb 25th. Also the same night the club will host the official ALICE IN CHAINS afterparty! Interesting to see what Mr Cantrell and the boys think of our beloved DARKER HALF as we'll have plenty of it playing on the night.

DARKER HALF will be sharing Sydney album launch duties with Melbournes THE ETERNAL with support from very talented youngsters DESTEND.This should be a cracker of a show!!

Long serving DARKER HALF drummer Ben "Benaul" Martino has decided to take a break from music for an idefinate period and therefore next Friday's gig (may 1st) @ the Lewisham will be Ben's final onstage performance with the band.
Ben has been a great friend and asset to the band and has shared many good times with the guys and his playing on the new album "Duality" is nothing short of first class.
Everyone in and around the band wishes Ben the best for the future.This will though in no way stop the momentum of the band be assured as a new line up will be unveiled very very soon and more shows announced to coincide with this.
But for now we hope you can come along and help make Ben's final show a memorable one!

DARKER HALF will be performing a very special headlining set full of surprises both sound and sight wise at The Wall (formerly the Bald Faced Stag) on Friday March 5th.This is their first show of the year and following on from such a successful 2009 the guys will be pulling out all stops to make 2010 even bigger!!
Special guests for this show are SOBRUSION from Wagga who will be launching their brand new album on the night as well as early spots by possibly the most Metal band ever to exist who funnily enough go under the name METAL and those thrashing maniacs BLACK REIGN.
Also fellow Aussie Metal supporters Mystic Metal have just launched their new website and this show will be a celebration for their new layout. Come join the party!!
