Gig thread

The DH boys are guest Dj's at Rock club Paradise City in inner city Sydney on Feb 25th. Also the same night the club will host the official ALICE IN CHAINS afterparty! Interesting to see what Mr Cantrell and the boys think of our beloved DARKER HALF as we'll have plenty of it playing on the night.

Turns out The Lewisham Hotel has to close early on Good Friday so two bands dropped out.

We're playing last...which means about 8:30 to 9o'clock start.

If we hadn't already prepaid accomodation before they let us know the gig was downsized and downtimed(?) we might have pulled out. But me and our bass player used to be in a band with Danny John (of the trio) and want to catch up....they play rock/fusion instrumentals.

Long serving DARKER HALF drummer Ben "Benaul" Martino has decided to take a break from music for an idefinate period and therefore next Friday's gig (may 1st) @ the Lewisham will be Ben's final onstage performance with the band.
Ben has been a great friend and asset to the band and has shared many good times with the guys and his playing on the new album "Duality" is nothing short of first class.
Everyone in and around the band wishes Ben the best for the future.This will though in no way stop the momentum of the band be assured as a new line up will be unveiled very very soon and more shows announced to coincide with this.
But for now we hope you can come along and help make Ben's final show a memorable one! :headbang:

Please note a line up change to this show.
THUNDASTEEL have had to pull out and now replaced by HAZMAT.

Also please note this will be the first DH gig with the new guitarist and Dom now back on drums.
