GMD Poll: Top 10 Metal Albums of 1992

Plenty of deathcore is in fact metal, what a silly opinion. There are quite a few deathcore bands (and I'm not that familiar with the genre) that are mainly death metal with some influence from hardcore. That small influence doesn't mean they're suddenly not metal. Of course, some lean more towards hardcore than death metal and that would make them primarily a hardcore band.

Because the band I mentioned in my post, Samael, obviously has anything at all to do with deathcore.

Explain your reasoning
In all honesty, I may be wrong. However, I haven't really taken much of a chance on the genre since each band I came across years ago was simply headache-inducing. Didn't like any of them. Also, many of them seemed to lean more towards hardcore punk than death metal so that may have influenced my opinion somewhat.

I don't agree but okay

Some definitely do, but as I said, some definitely lean more towards death metal. Anyway, I'm not interested in the genre since the limited amount of stuff I've heard from it has been, as you said, headache inducing.
