One suggestion for the future is that there's a minimum number of albums to be listed (maybe 5). Listing only one album is kind of bullshitty.

That, or if you don't list enough albums, the albums you do list get the 3 or 3.5 pts or whatever the amount of points the albums get if you don't order them.

I'm kind of disappointed that Somewhere Far Beyond didn't get a spot in the top ten but this is still a fantastic list, regardless.

Me too! It is mostly thrash-prog-death on this list which is fine, but a defining power metal album would have been nice too. Oh well

Overall, I'm happy with list, as half of my picks made it, and all were in the top six. A few of the top 10 I've never heard (Psychotic Waltz, Destruction Hammer, and Solitude Aeturnus), so I've got some listening to do too.

I have an idea for this game. Have the person (or persons) who rated each album highest in the top 10 submit a song from the album for people to listen to. So that way a ~10 song playlist is made to accompany the results. Would be nice to actually hear the results and not just list them, and some of the albums not everyone has heard before.

i think for at the gates it should be 'through gardens of grief' or 'within' personally. i'm a huge sucker for 'kingdom gone' myself but the others are more definitive i think. they also were top 2 in the song survivor i conducted a few years back.
