It's a shitload better than any Danzig album; the point.
Lucifuge is probably the weakest of three for me but I'd call the S/T at least roughly equal with Swallowed in Black.

Second tier thrash metal band better than one of Danzig’s first three albums? Fuck no.

You gave Swallowed in Black the same rating as you gave several Korn albums.
So? The S/T is the only consistently good/great Korn album. Not sure where you got the idea that I was some kind of Korn megafan.
EDIT: One album is apparently "several" in aboland
Oh sorry you're right, you rated one Korn album the same as Swallowed in Black and another higher than Swallowed in Black.
You also gave that Korn album a higher rating than the first 3 Danzig albums...
If you prefer punk with questionable production over quality hard rock/heavy metal, yeah.Literally Danzig's least impressive band

I did indeed. Korn's S/T is a better album than probably anything Sadus and Danzig have done. Heavier, more original, more musically interesting, etc.
So you'd disagree that Misfits & Samhain's production is hugely relevant to their aesthetic? I have no trouble being a big fan of old British punk from the late 70s and 80s. I'm not complaining about the production of punk as a whole for fuck's sake.Anybody who even brings up production in reference to punk is probably a retard, no offense.
Slowly We Rot and Cause of Death had a very chunky, gore-soaked aura to everything.
It's interesting as both albums are Scott Burns produced and only a year apart but they sound so different. Cause of Death has much better separation between the instruments and a bigger, heavier sound to me.
I consider myself a music listener more than anything and do not care what is classic or what you're suppose to like in terms of genres,etc.. I personally just find Deicide and Obituary musically really stupid. I could be wrong,etc.. but to my ears both bands are really awful.
Or you could stop being an utter fag and start liking Obituary.

They just seem a bit more lo-fi to fit in with the B grade horror themes.
imagine how much less amazing this would sound if it was produced like normal music
