RYM ALBUMS LIST
RYM EP LIST

Reminder of the rules:
- please submit at least *5* releases. But just remember, real men vote at 10.
- first place in your rankings gets 10 points, 2nd gets 9, etcetc, 10th gets 1.
- feel free to post more than 10, but only the top 10 will get points.
- feel free to post less than 10, the same scoring will apply.
- feel free not to rank your picks, in which case all ten picks will get 5.5 points.
- if you're so much of a dick that you have to post more than 10 unranked picks, only the first 10 will count. In other words, go back to the third rule.

Submit your lists by December 15th.

What a garbage year for thrash, it’s comically bad

1) Adagio - Sanctus Ignis
2) Tool - Lateralus
3) Hammers of Misfortune - The Bastard
4) Windir - 1184
5) Green Carnation - Light of Day, Day of Darkness
6) Megadeth - The World Needs a Hero
7) Complex 7 - Water
8) Vuvr - Pilgrimage
9) Deceased - Behind the Mourner's Veil
10) Maudlin of the Well - Leaving Your Body Map
7 for 4 - Contact
Kreator - Violent Revolution

Still lots of listening to do. This was the year I started getting serious about classical, didn’t listen to much metal other than classic thrash or prog

Yeah pretty dry year for thrash, but not a fan of Sodom's M-16 or Deceased's Behind the Mourner's Veil EP?

I almost added Deceased, what the heck I'll add it since it's not at 10 yet. It's not their best work. Still have to relisten and rank these things. Not a fan of most Sodom, once in awhile it sounds ok

This is a killer year for death metal, but little else (maybe some grind).

I almost added Deceased, what the heck I'll add it since it's not at 10 yet. It's not their best work. Still have to relisten and rank these things. Not a fan of most Sodom, once in awhile it sounds ok

The Deceased EP probably would have made my top 20 if it had less covers and more OG tracks, but yeah it's still an absolute ripper.

it used to be very hyped around here back in the day. i always found them to have a cool sound but not much more than that. might revisit it for this though.

You dont even really listen to thrash man, so please stop showcasing your ignorance. Most good thrash from the last 20 years is better than most of the garbage black metal you wank it to.

edit: oh and btw you have a black/thrash album on your list too which makes your retarded statement even funnier
