Sort of mediocre year. Hopefully this one will be better.

And i like how everyone ranked Ghostly White at a different spot. Would have been a full 1-10 if had a 3rd and 4th place vote.

It makes sense for Firepower to win. When it comes to these modern years, we all fall into our own little niches and divide the boat, but Judas Priest is as close to universal as it gets on this forum.

Entre Suffrage Et Mirage is probably the song of the year for me. Definitely let me know what you think of that one.

This album was a great rec. It would definitely be top 5 if I submitted my list today. As for that song in particular, the bass is so fucking good. I love all those melancholic undertones it adds and that sick solo at the end.

I'll give the other recs more listens over the next month or so.

yea they had this whole thing where everyone was sad and almost counted them off when Dominic Lapointe(their original bass player) left to concentrate on his first(and main) band, which btw is Augury. There was no way they were going to be able to find someone who can replace him ... until this new dude came along. And yea, he's fucking great .... @3.23 is just beautiful. But my favorite parts of the track is the way the main neoclassical-esque riff builds up every time. Cant find any flaws with the song, a 10/10 masterpiece for me.

That album by The Skull is top-tier. Eric's voice had really matured by this time and he sounded incredible here. Legend.
