I just got a letter in the mail, notifying me that starting June 24th, I WILL BE AN OFFICIAL ON-AIR DJ FOR AM 1320 KKSM!!! I'll be on every Friday, from 3pm-6pm Pacific US time! After 3 years, I finally fucking did it!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!!! I am so EXCITED!!!

They do and it can be found at http://www.palomar.edu/kksm/. I will have to play by the format, which is a mix of alternative, adult alternative, softer classic rock, local stuff and a bunch of weird shit. Not really my thing. BUT once or twice an hour i get what's called a "Jock Choice", meaning i get to play whatever the hell i want, whether it be out of their library or my personal library. You'd probably be able to guess what's a Jock Choice or not during my shift.

I already got my first three Jock Choices chosen. Judas Priest, Black Sabbath and Overkill. As for the others, i'll have to play it by ear. And i'll keep that advice in mind. I probably won't introduce the really rough stuff until i get my specialty show in the fall, which will be three full hours of whatever i want to play.

And a warning to anyone thinking of listening: Honestly, my voice isn't your usual "radio voice". It's not smooth and deep at all. As a matter of fact, it's a bit on the high and squeaky side for 20 years old, and have been told it's "soothing". That's just the nice way of saying "effeminate".
